Proton spin – clockwise rotation
Protons, as positively charged particles in the core of the atoms, have a rotation know as spin.This motion creates a magnetic field around the proton. In anticlockwise rotation, the North pole of the field is at the top and the South pole at the bottom. This fact is important if an external magnetic field is applied.
